Dr Bobby Goswami Baruah is a Certified Career Analyst (CCA), a career & a business coach, a mentor, a library professional, an educator & trainer, an academician and an experienced well-known career counsellor in Bangalore from Guwahati, Assam and the FounderDirector of Dumick Educational Consultancy (OPC) Private Limited started way back in 2018 who works persistently to guide students realize their potentials and passion and work towards reaching out to their dream career destinations. Her believe, that, with the right guidance in the right time with right direction & proper execution plan and motivation, no career goal is impossible. In fact, it is her experience of two-decade-long interaction with students of various backgrounds and different potential that made her wear the hat of an Academic Counsellor. With the zeal to provide apt career guidance to students based on their specific potential and area of interests, she started her entrepreneurial journey with her own consultancy named – Dumick Educational Consultancy, where she is the Founder and serves as the Director. Her journey into this field started when she felt that it’s high time that she needed to look out for exactly what she wanted. She knew that she deserves it and realized after having a stagnant and unsatisfying career. That is where, she has taken her passion to the next step and started her own company with incorporation on 26th June 2021. Dr Bobby has an extensive experience in the field of Guidance & Counselling and alongside being a career counsellor,coach,mentor, trainer and a librarian, has experience of thirteen productive years in the education industry in teaching and library professional. She also has authored numerous national and international publications to her name. Recently, her unswerving efforts to help students from different parts of the country helped her bag the “The Real Super Woman, 2020” award in the counsellor category for Assam by ‘Forever Star India Award’(FSIA). Born and bred in Assam, she did her undergraduate studies in Science at Cotton College, Guwahati. Dr. Bobby pursued her Masters and PhD in Library and Information Science respectively from Gauhati University (Assam) and North Eastern Hill University (Meghalaya). Adding to it, she is equipped with a Postgraduate Diploma in Library Automation and Networking (PGDLAN) from the University of Hyderabad. She is a Certified Career Analyst (CCA) from Edumilestones and also a Green Belt Certified holder in Global Career Counselling from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA Extension) & Univariety, and has been certified as their Super Counsellor. Her vast educational background makes her the right fit for a Global Career Counsellor. To date, she has counselled more than 3000 students in choosing the right career based on their interests and potentialities. A self-motivated, dedicated and determined individual who follows her own rules, she always provides a helping hand in right direction to guide, not only students but also working professionals who are not satisfied in their current workplace and are clueless where to move. In 2022, her company has also been adjusted as the ‘Top 10 most promising Career Coaching companies’ by Silicon India, a magazine of repute in the national level. Keeping her professional life aside, her hobbies include sports, gardening and fashion.
